Octo Ocular approaches eyewear as structure, not embellishment. Based in Mexico City, the brand draws from the unapologetic force of Brutalist architecture to create pieces that carry weight, visually and conceptually. Each model is built with defined volumes and sharp lines, more akin to architectural elements than accessories.
The frames are produced using Selective Laser Sintering, a high-precision technology that sculpts polyamide into durable yet lightweight forms. This material, known for its flexibility and resilience, allows Octo to experiment with bold silhouettes while maintaining comfort through hollow interiors. Every piece is finished by hand, undergoing a meticulous process of polishing and hydration that softens the surface without diluting its presence.
Beyond aesthetics, Octo is committed to a production process that minimizes waste. Over 99 percent of unused material is reintegrated into future batches, creating a sustainable loop that aligns technical innovation with environmental responsibility.
At its core, Octo operates with a clear intent: to design objects that speak of origin, identity, and precision. These are not seasonal styles, but enduring forms that reflect a commitment to material honesty and structural clarity.
ABOUT OCTO
Inspired by the monumental works of iconic Mexican Brutalist architects, Octo embraces the raw, the bold, and the unapologetic. Each pair of sunglasses becomes a statement—a reflection of the beauty found in unrefined materials and the power of geometric form.
