The Fall/Winter 2026/27 collection “Poetic Rebels” by Isabel Benenato speaks of a desire, almost primal, to return to real feelings and emotions.

Run Deep Run Wild is an anthem to who we truly are, free from external conditioning.

Through the installation inside the showroom, the designer seeks to express this deep connection with ourselves and with nature.

A white dreamcatcher, pure and instinctive, represents our states of mind, the phases of our lives.

Through written pages our past.

Through blank pages, our present and future, still to be written.

Hanging feathers, a return to our most instinctive, almost animal side.

Knots in fabrics and ropes as transformed memories, moments that deserve reflection.

Everything is emotional tension, and it can be felt in the collection through constructions that are sometimes fluid, sometimes interrupted.

Knitwear becomes the language through which all of this is perfectly expressed, these are states of mind to be worn.

From a technical perspective, the collection unfolds through a rich and evocative exploration of materials: warm, enveloping yarns in silk–cashmere and silk–mohair blends give way to the deep, comforting touch of yak fibers. These are contrasted with lighter, more delicate weights, such as satin used for slip dresses and skirts, which create tension against the structured silhouettes of the iconic sleeveless coat.

The looks are completed by the designer’s signature knit accessories, while a return to her earliest experimentation with leather introduces reimagined trench jackets and archive-inspired bags, bridging past and present in a continuous dialogue of memory and reinvention.

As in all of Isabel’s collections, love is central, it is the driving force, even when it takes the form of painful love or when it becomes necessary to run away to save oneself.

ABOUT ISABEL BENENATO

Isabel Benenato is an Italian designer based in Milan, where she founded her eponymous label in 2008. Originally from Naples, her background is shaped by an early proximity to both art and garment-making, elements that continue to inform a practice grounded in material awareness and construction.

Her work is characterized by a consistent focus on texture, form, and reduction. Operating largely within a restrained palette, Benenato develops collections that privilege nuance over overt statement, with an emphasis on knitwear as both structure and surface. This approach results in garments that balance softness and tension, often through subtle distortions of proportion and silhouette.

Produced in Italy, her collections reflect an ongoing engagement with artisanal processes and material research. Rather than seasonal shifts, her work follows a continuous line of development, where experimentation is embedded within a controlled and coherent design language.
