For this season, Aenrmous developed a narrative centered on reconstruction and inner repair. The collection explored the idea of rebuilding after devastation, treating garments as vessels through which identity can be gradually reassembled. Hand stitching appeared throughout the pieces as both a technical and symbolic gesture, evoking the act of repairing what has been fractured. Within the brand’s conceptual framework, the hand emerged as a central motif, representing human will, action, and the attempt to restore hope after destruction.
Silhouettes referenced elements of medieval armor, including protective hoods and structured headpieces that suggested clothing as both shield and marker of identity. Wax finishing was applied to fabrics to create the impression of suspended time, as if garments had been preserved in a frozen state between past and present. Surfaces appeared simultaneously rigid and vulnerable, reinforcing the tension between protection and exposure that runs through the collection.
Part of the inspiration draws from the themes of war and existential dislocation explored in the 1965 Polish film “Ashes”. The narrative reflects on identity after conflict, the disintegration of belief, and the collapse of a stable sense of self. Within the collection, these ideas translated into garments that appear to exist in a moment of reconstruction, where meaning is not fully restored but actively being rebuilt.
The presentation was accompanied by a live performance from Ouri, whose cello compositions reinterpreted classical structures through contemporary synthesis. The soundscape introduced an additional emotional layer, reinforcing the atmosphere of reflection and gradual repair that shaped the collection.
