Founded in 1988, Démoo has long occupied a distinctive position within South Korean fashion, cultivating an approach that privileges quiet construction, layered silhouettes, and a subtle dialogue between tradition and experimentation. Over decades, the brand has developed a visual language rooted in fluidity. Garments move between structure and softness, restraint and expression. This sensibility continues to define its recent collections, where archival references and contemporary techniques converge in a restrained yet deliberate manner.
Presented during Paris Fashion Week, Démoo’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection unfolded under the theme “Connected,” proposing continuity as both concept and method. The season also marked a significant moment for the label with the official introduction of its menswear line. The new line does not simply mirror the established womenswear offering. It engages with it in an ongoing exchange, creating a shared vocabulary in which silhouettes, textures, and gestures circulate freely between the two. The collection reflects an ongoing dialogue between different generations, the brand’s archival vocabulary, and contemporary sensibilities. Contrasting elements coexist with quiet coherence.
Shown at Galerie Ellia in Paris’s Marais district, the presentation emphasized this interplay of influences. References drawn from past collections were revisited alongside new silhouettes and textures, creating garments that appear both familiar and newly articulated. The result suggested continuity. Past and present coexist within the same design language. The atmosphere of the show was further shaped by a live musical performance by Lisa Strauss, whose presence provided an intimate sonic backdrop to the presentation.
With this latest chapter, Démoo continues to refine its exploration of balance and coexistence, expanding its design universe while maintaining the quiet precision that has defined the brand since its founding.
