For Spring/Summer 2026, Sandrine Philippe experiments with red, drawing inspiration from the tonality of blood, wine, fruits, and beyond. The highlight of the collection is a candle-waxed blazer jacket featured in the menswear line. The red leather, naturally dyed in a vivid shade, undergoes a meticulous process in which melted candles are hand-applied in three to four layers, transforming the supple leather into a strong, armor-like structure.
In the womenswear, the candle-waxing technique continues, this time applied to lighter cotton rather than leather. Seen on the striped jackets, the process produces a stiffer, more structured silhouette while retaining enough softness for everyday wear.

The color palette expands this season to include shades of red, grey-green, dust grey, and the brand’s signature black. Though the tones remain dark, the lighter hues evoke a sense of aging and fading through time—like garments weathered over centuries.

Rooted in a dark, poetic aesthetic, Sandrine Philippe’s universe evokes the shadows of German Expressionist cinema, exploring the fine line between reason and madness. Each collection reflects an evolving narrative of transformation and emotion, creating garments that feel both timeless and otherworldly.
Since expanding into menswear in 2008, the brand has continued to probe the dualities of brutality and beauty, vulnerability and strength. Philippe’s work reveals the primal and protective layers of human nature, transforming clothing into a medium of expression and introspection.
